Fortnite players could soon have another chance to pick up some returning cosmetics, as Universal Fortnite skins are reportedly returning to the Item Shop on October 11, 2026.
According to a post shared by Fortnite leaker HypeX on X, the skins are set to return after last appearing in the Item Shop in October 2022. That means players have potentially been waiting more than 1,437 days to see them return.
For anyone who missed out on these cosmetics the first time around, their reported return could be a welcome surprise.
Universal Fortnite Skins Could Return After Nearly Four Years
Fortnite regularly brings previously released skins back to the Item Shop, but some cosmetics can remain unavailable for years at a time.
HypeX’s post highlights that the Universal Fortnite skins were last seen in October 2022, making their reported October 11 return particularly notable for collectors and players who have been waiting for another opportunity to buy them.
With more than 1,437 days since their last appearance, their return would end a lengthy wait for anyone hoping to add these cosmetics to their locker.
However, players should keep in mind that Item Shop rotations can change, so the reported date is not a guarantee until the cosmetics appear in-game.
